Our mission at Carolina International School is to discover each student’s unique gifts, to nurture them as global stewards, and astound them with what they can achieve.
Carolina International School opened September 13, 2004, just outside Charlotte in Cabarrus County, with grades K-7. We now offer grades K-10 and plan to add 11th and 12th grades as we move forward with plans for a new facility. CIS is open to all North Carolina students, tuition-free. Our average class size is 21 students, with approximately 42 students per grade.
