Alison Gerdes, a senior at Bethany, presents her senior vocal/piano recital in Bethany’s Trinity Chapel accompanied by Bethel Balge with vocal participation by Josh Mayer, Sarah Webber, and David Reagles. Alison, a Sociology Major, has been involved in many of the theater and music performances at Bethany including the musical “Jam Jar Sonnets” and participation in the Bethany Lutheran Choir for four years. With guidance by her voice instructor, Ann Fredrickson, her vocal selections will include pieces by Brahms, Strauss, and many others ranging from Italian classics to modern day favorites. Her piano selections, with instruction from her teacher Bethel Balge, will include Ravel’s “Sonatine” movements 1, 2, and 3 and selections from Ernesto Lecuona’s “Andalucía Suite.” Originally recorded May 1, 2011.
