Bethany Lutheran College Professor Robert Hanna (English) is a world-renowned scholar of Charles Dickens’s writings. Hanna’s latest publication brings together a variety of Dickens’s works in the collection Dickens’s Uncollected Newspaper and Magazine Sketches 1833-1836. Hanna has had a lifelong interest in Dickens and his works. He explained, “All of the compositions in this book have never been collected and reprinted before, making the book a new addition to the Dickens canon.”
The publication of these works in 2012 is especially meaningful to Dickens enthusiasts. Dr. Hanna notes, “I’m happy the book was published in time to have a 2012 copyright, the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens’s birth.”
