Living arrangements:
I lived in a traditional dorm setting with a roommate. It was a good experience to help me get out of my comfort zone and accept the intricacies of another culture. My dorm was located in an area with several universities so I was surrounded by students. This allowed me to meet other students from many different backgrounds.

In what ways did studying abroad allow you to learn and grow?
Studying abroad has helped me to grow into the person that I am today in many ways. It has helped me realize that elaborate goals and aspirations are achievable through hard work and dedication. I would have never dreamed that it would be possible for me to study abroad, and the simple fact that I have been able to do so has been invaluable to me and my outlook on life.

In what ways did you connect with a new culture?
When visiting a different country, everything from the most mundane errands to elaborate trips are full of new and diverse experiences. I felt a complete immersion into a new and different culture.

Describe your best memory from this experience.
The relationships that I have built and continue to maintain have definitely been the most lasting effect of my time in China.
