The Bethany Lutheran College Education Department is now offering several post-baccalaureate licensure programs for current teachers. These programs will allow teachers to add to their current licensure profile by taking courses designed for licensure through Bethany’s Education Department.
Educators may add to their current license a variety of endorsements in preprimary (ages 3-8) and middle level math, science, social studies, and communication arts and language, as well as licensure in special education/academic and behavioral strategist. The majority of courses will be available online throughout all three Bethany Lutheran College terms (summer, fall, and spring). Courses in the special education major will begin in an online format during summer 2018, and online endorsement coursework will be available in the fall 2018.
Bethany offers affordable pricing and convenient formats for distance learners. Enrollees could be eligible for state and federal incentives and loan repayment programs as professionals seeking additional licenses; especially licensures in high need areas of special education, math, and science. Teachers interested in adding to their current licensure are encouraged to contact Dr. Carrie Pfeifer. Registration for summer courses will open March 1, 2018.
