What you do:

– Manage a team of creatives as well as work independently
– Lead game day operations for all social media platforms including coverage of home games and events as needed

What inspires you: I love that I have the opportunity to work in a sports environment and make my own schedule. Getting to create graphics and see how people interact with them really drives me. My whole goal while I’ve been in this position is the chance to grow the Mavericks brand to be as good as the biggest colleges in the country.

How you want to make a difference: I hope to move on to pro sports in the future and learn from those who have been doing what I do for much longer.

How Bethany prepared you: The experience I got at Bethany is unparalleled. My time with Maverick Hockey Weekend opened all the doors necessary for me to get to where I am now. Greg Vandermause guided me from a freshman who wasn’t interested in being all in 100%, to now working with a D-1 hockey team. I found my passion and I get to live the dream everyday.

What you remember most about Bethany: I will always remember the special people and connections I made. Being on the tennis team and bonding with teammates, people who I still talk to on a regular basis. I also will always remember how Bethany treated me as a person. When I was a sophomore I was hospitalized for about a month and ended up having to miss about three months of school. The faculty at Bethany was always willing to work with me and not just treat me as a seat in a classroom, but as a human being. I was able to get back on track, get back on the tennis court and eventually graduate in 2019.

Advice for current students: Don’t take the resources you have at Bethany for granted. Talk to your fellow students and staff. Ask questions. Get out and try to be the best you
