Personal

Born and raised in DeKalb, Illinois, Shoop is a Chicago Cubs, Bulls, and Bears fan. Shoop has three children and five grandchildren. He also enjoys traveling and has recently visited Chile, Argentina, China, France, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. The latest books he’s read include “Killing Lincoln” by Bill O’Reilly, “Boomerang” by Michael Lewis, and “Boss” by Mike Royko.
