HEBR101 | Introduction to Hebrew I 4 credits This course is a survey of the essentials of the grammar and syntax of Classical (Biblical) Hebrew. Its primary purpose is to prepare students to work with the Hebrew Old Testament. |
HEBR102 | Introduction to Hebrew II 4 credits This course is a survey of the essentials of the grammar and syntax of Classical (Biblical) Hebrew. Its primary purpose is to prepare students to work with the Hebrew Old Testament. Prerequisite: HEBR101 - Introduction to Hebrew I. |
HEBR203 | Intermediate Hebrew I 3 credits This course consists of a review of the basic grammar and syntax of Classical (Biblical) Hebrew, and the expansion of skills in the Hebrew language through the translation and analysis of primarily narrative prose portions of the Old Testament, and a few selected ancient texts from outside of the Bible. Prerequisite: HEBR102 - Introduction to Hebrew II. |
