Andrew W. Krueger is an Associate Professor in the Business Administration department.

Biography Grew up in Winona, MN attending St. Matthew’s Lutheran School before moving on to Winona High and Winona State University.  Graduated in 1999 from Winona State with a BS in Business Administration. Following graduation I worked at Volkswagen Credit in Libertyville, IL for 6 years. I worked in areas such as customer service, collections, credit, and data analysis.  During my time at Volkswagen, I also attended UW-Parkside and obtained my MBA in 2003. Following my time at VW, I enrolled at the University of Minnesota to obtain a public school teaching license in business education as well as a Masters of Education. In 2006 I moved to Mankato to teach at Mankato East Senior High. During my last year at East I became the head men and women’s tennis coach here at Bethany and in the fall of 2013 I came over to Bethany full time. I also spent a few years as the business director of Bethany’s Stone Path Studios. Currently I am teaching full time, married, and living in Jordan, MN. Academic Interests/Specialties Currently I specialize in the courses that are part of the sport management emphasis under the business administration major. I also teach two classes in our finance emphasis as well as two general education courses including our online macroeconomics course. In the past I have also taught software applications.  In the fall of 2017, I taught a section of our freshman orientation course. Overall, I overlap in several of our business disciplines. Education

Personal/Hobbies  Married and living in Jordan, MN.  Interests in sports history, history in general, golfing, camping, snow shoeing, hiking, softball, most anything sport and recreationally related. A die-hard Denver Broncos, Gopher Hockey, and Florida State football fan. Teaching philosophy It constantly changes to provide a variety of experiences. I try to combine textbook, instructor experience, and the real world into all classes. I do love to have students do some presentations, some “student teaching,” debate, and open discussion in all of my classes.
