Why is my alumni gift so important?
It’s not always about the size of the gift, but rather, the number of alumni supporting Bethany affects so many areas:
- Financial gifts from alumni help to provide a large portion of the necessary resources for Bethany to operate and provide our students the best Christ-centered college education possible! While tuition is vitally important to the College, it’s just a portion of the entire revenue picture for Bethany.
- A strong alumni support base shows how much you appreciate your Bethany education. In turn, future generations of students understand the sacrifice you are making to support your alma mater. Quite simply, a gift to Bethany is a vote of confidence, which others see and value, and ultimately inspires new students to enroll.
- National rankings use alumni giving as one factor in their ratings. Thanks in part to our alumni support, Bethany continues to be ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report.
- Just like rankings, foundations also view alumni giving as an important metric in their decision to support. This alone, could lead to six and seven figure gifts for Bethany. More alumni gifts could mean foundation support in the millions of dollars for Bethany.
