Be a part of our squad!
Join a field of robust collegiate competition with Bethany Viking’s Clay Target Team. Young men and women are able to compete in Minnesota and surrounding states at a high level for all four years of their undergraduate careers.
- First place conference finishes in trap competition in first two seasons (Fall 2021 and Spring 2022).
- Bethany plans to grow the team roster to 20-30 students, consisting of both Varsity and JV.
- Top varsity competitors travel and compete in a fall season and spring season, covering 19 weeks of practice and competition.
- Up to $2,000 annual talent scholarships may be available for serious Clay Target Competitors.
Bethany’s home for Clay Target competitions and live practice is the Caribou Club in Le Sueur. Caribou has a skeet facility, numerous sporting clay stations, and six trap stations. A team storage area for shells and other equipment along with a Viking branded trap station will make for a welcoming home range for the Vikings. The club house allows for informal social time with fellow competitors, safety instructors, law enforcement professionals, ROTC groups, DNR employees, and internationally-acclaimed marksman.
Gold medalist Randy Voss owns and operates the facility and is a champion for youth development.
Practice Facilities
Practices will be at Caribou Club, Le Sueur during the season and multiple virtual practices will take place in the on-campus team room. Bethany will have a virtual simulation space to augment the range time and sharpen tracking skills.
Team Room
The on-campus team room space will have a virtual simulator, social areas, and individual team lockers.
