Earn College Credits in World Languages!
Students who have studied Spanish, German, French, or Chinese in high school are invited to an informational meeting to learn how to earn additional college credits for these languages. For questions, contact the international language coordinator John Gunderson.

Students will meet in their residence halls with their Resident Assistants (RAs) and Resident Hall Coordinators (RHCs) to get to know one another, receive important information, and learn about living in a community. Specific meeting locations are posted in the residence halls. Attendance is required for residential students.

Stop by to meet Professor Ben Faugstad and Mr. Evan Bierer for 30 minutes to learn about concert band, jazz, and drumline. Rehearsals officially begin for Concert Band at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 8/21; and both Drumline (4:30 p.m.) and Jazz (5:30 p.m.) begin on Monday, 8/26. All are welcome!

We will be auditioning for two plays this evening, The Servant of Two Masters, a one-act comedy adapted by Emily Kimball (to be performed under a giant tent on the campus green) and What Child is This?, a world-premiere nativity play by Peter Bloedel. All are invited and encouraged to audition.

At the sidewalk along the campus green next to the YFAC and SFC Inkwell will be hosting chalk art. Come to doodle, hang out and enjoy the lovely weather. If it rains we will host the event in a Luther Hall lounge or study room that is available and instead of chalk we will doodle on paper and listen to lo-fi bops.
